Fazal Khan

Fazal Khan, P.Eng., is an accomplished Senior Process Engineer with extensive experience in the mining and metallurgy sectors. Currently at Teck Resources Limited, Fazal leads efforts in lead, silver, and gold refining, driving efficiency improvements and mentoring junior engineers. Previously at Rio Tinto, Fazal applied lean methodologies in aluminum casting, enhancing process flow and spearheading continuous improvement projects. Additional experience includes materials and metallurgical engineering at JFE Steel Corporation, technical oversight at various operations, and a foundation in research and project management. Fazal holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from McGill University.
