Lee Helmsen

Lee Helmsen is a seasoned professional in community relations and environmental engineering, currently serving as the Senior Lead for Community Relations in the Aktigiruq & Anarraaq Extension Program at Teck Resources Limited since December 2019. Previously, Lee held the position of Senior Community Relations Coordinator for Red Dog Operations, along with roles as Community Engagement Specialist and Environmental Engineer at SRK Consulting from June 2014 to December 2019. Lee's experience includes working as an Environmental Engineer with MWH Global and OTEK Australia, as well as serving as a Research Assistant at the Yale Center for Industrial Ecology. Lee's academic background includes dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Geology and Geophysics and Environmental Engineering from Yale University, complemented by a prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma from Littleton High School.
