Pablo Ortiz

Pablo Ortiz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in venture building, project management, and research within the fields of sustainable chemistry and materials science. Currently serving as a Venture Builder at TECNALIA Research & Innovation since June 2020, Pablo conducts technological and market due diligence, prepares business plans, and seeks investment opportunities in deep tech startups. Additionally, as a Member of the Board of Directors for CO2 Value Europe and a member of the Nova Global Top Talent Network, Pablo actively contributes to advancing sustainable technologies. Previous roles include R&D Professional at VITO, where initiatives on bio-aromatic polymers were developed, and various research positions culminating in a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Groningen. Pablo holds an Executive MBA from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, further enhancing a strong foundation in scientific research complemented by business acumen.
