Xabier Yurrebaso Asua

Xabier Yurrebaso Asua is a seasoned cybersecurity researcher with extensive experience spanning various roles in the field of security and technology. Currently employed at TECNALIA Research & Innovation since June 2019, Xabier focuses on advancing cybersecurity initiatives. Prior experience includes working at IK4-IKERLAN, where responsibilities encompassed vulnerability analysis and project management in industrial settings, and at Redsys España, where Xabier developed security applications for eCommerce and authentication services. Earlier roles at Indra involved cryptographic development in banking environments and integrated security solutions, while initial career experiences at Custos Mobile S.L. and Alcoa contributed to skills in software development and preventive maintenance management. Xabier holds degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from EHU and ETSI de Bilbao (UPV-EHU).
