Tommaso De Maio has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Tommaso began their career as a Designer at Whirlpool Corporation, where they worked on the development of new functional and conceptual solutions for domestic electrical appliances. Tommaso then moved on to Black & Decker as a Senior Designer before joining Mikron S.A. as a Senior Designer, responsible for customizing automatic transfers for mechanical working.
In 1992, Tommaso joined ATEA S.p.A. as a Technical Manager, initially leading projects for thermostat ranges in washing machines and ovens. Tommaso later took on additional responsibilities, including managing the Engineering Office and overseeing product design related to the acquisition of competitor companies.
In 2001, Tommaso joined Tecniplast S.p.A. as a Technical Director, leading the Design and R&D Office. Over time, they took on more responsibilities, including managing Organization & Efficiency, Engineering, Technical Communication, and Automation functions. In 2010, they transitioned to the role of Quality Director, where they focused on reorganizing the Quality Department and improving quality performance across the company.
Throughout their career, Tommaso has demonstrated their expertise in design, technical management, reengineering, and quality assurance. Tommaso has led teams of up to 15 collaborators and has a proven track record of driving organizational change and delivering high-quality results.
Tommaso De Maio attended Istituto Tecnico Industriale Statale - Varese from 1976 to 1980, where they pursued a degree in Perito Meccanico. Their field of study was focused on Meccanica e tecnologie.
