Erick Ramírez-Cedillo

Erick Ramírez-Cedillo, PhD, serves as a Professor, Researcher, and Director of the Innovation and Transformation Engineering Program at Tecnológico de Monterrey since February 2020, imparting knowledge on various topics including rapid prototyping, additive manufacturing, and project management. As Co-Founder of 3D FACTORY MX and CUSTOMED, Ramírez-Cedillo designs workflows for 3D printing services and specializes in creating medical implants through metal additive manufacturing. With previous roles at Tecnológico de Monterrey ranging from PhD research student to Cathedratic Professor, Ramírez-Cedillo has a strong academic background complemented by hands-on experience in engineering management, research in additive manufacturing technologies, and collaborations with institutions such as the University of North Texas. Erick holds a PhD in Engineering Science from Tecnológico de Monterrey and has participated actively in the Asociación Mexicana de Manufactura Aditiva y 3D.
