J. George Lien

President at TECO Electric & Machinery Co.

J. George Lien, P.E. graduated from Graduate School of Civil Engineering, Steven Institute of Technology of the U.S., with a U.S. professional engineer license. He was president of Chung-Hsin Electric and Machinery Corp. (CHEM) before joining TECO Electric & Machinery in 2001. Over the past years, he has served a number of stints at TECO, including chief executive of Heavy-Electricity Business Division, Information Technology Business Group, and from 2007, new business center, in charge of the initiation of new-energy and other new businesses. In recent years, he has overseen the operation of business offices for motor and electric-control products, both in Taiwan and abroad.
