Kimberly Roye

Kimberly Roye has a strong background in data science and analysis, with extensive experience in various roles and industries. Kimberly is currently working as a Lead Data Scientist at Tecolote Research, where they are responsible for leading data science projects.

Prior to this, Kimberly worked at Bank of America as a Senior Data Science Consultant. In this role, they developed data governance methodologies for AI models and decision-making processes. Kimberly also monitored and tracked risks related to AI models and assessed strategies to mitigate those risks.

Kimberly's work experience also includes a role as a Sr. Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they led the cost team for Marine Corps programs. Kimberly developed simulation models and reports documenting methodologies and assumptions used in cost estimates.

Kimberly began their career as a Mathematical Statistician at the U.S. Census Bureau, where they wrote SAS programs to import, manipulate, and analyze Census data.

Kimberly Roye completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics and Statistics from The University of Georgia, which they attended from 1998 to 2002. Kimberly then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Statistics from Rochester Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2005 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Kimberly has also acquired certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Kimberly completed the "SQL for Statistics Essential Training" course at LinkedIn in February 2021 and the "SQL Essential Training" course, also at LinkedIn, in January 2021.
