Jim Hoy

Jim Hoy has an extensive work experience spanning across multiple roles and companies. Jim started their career in 1979 with Tect Utica Corporation, where they held various positions until 1992. During this time, they served as the Director of Quality and Engineering. From 1992 to 1994, they assumed the role of IT Director at TECT. In 1995, they joined Tect Utica Corporation again and held the positions of Engineering Lead and MIS Manager until 2001. Finally, in 2002, they became the IT Director at TECT.

Jim Hoy's education history starts in 1975 when they attended MVCC and earned an AAS degree in Mechanical Technology. Jim then transferred to RIT in 1977 and pursued Mechanical Engineering Technology for a year. In 1980, they joined SUNY and continued studying Mechanical Engineering Technology until 1983. After a break, they went back to school at SUNY IT in 1998 and focused on Computer Science until 2001.
