Vlad Cretu

Vlad Cretu currently serves as the VP of Engineering at Tecton since February 2025. Prior to this role, Vlad held various engineering leadership positions at Sentry, including VP of Engineering and VP of Platforms and Infrastructure from May 2018 to February 2025. Vlad's experience also includes serving as the Head of Engineering for Hipchat Server and Data Center at Atlassian between August 2016 and May 2018, as well as co-founding BestKnownFor, a mobile application focused on restaurant recommendations, from October 2015 to February 2017. Additional roles include Sr. Director of Engineering at Synack, Inc., Director of Engineering at Bloodhound, Inc., and engineering positions at DocuSign Inc., McAfee Security, and Microsoft, with a notable tenure in program management and engineering from July 2002 to July 2009. Vlad holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Washington.
