Arthur MARIVIN, PhD has held multiple roles in the scientific field. From 2013 to present, they have been a Postdoctoral work at Boston University School of Medicine, where they worked on multiple projects defining basic mechanisms of G-Protein Coupled Receptors (GPCRs) signaling and their role in disease. This work led to 17 publications. From 2008 to 2013, they were a PhD student at Université de Bourgogne, where they worked on defining functions for Inhibitors of Apoptosis Proteins (IAPs) which are cancer targets with therapeutic agents in clinical trials. Arthur discovered that one IAP called cIAP1 promotes cancer via modulation of the G-protein cdc42. In 2022, they will begin their role as Principal Scientist at Tectonic Therapeutic, Inc.
Arthur MARIVIN, PhD obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology from Université de Bourgogne in 2012. Prior to this, they obtained their Master of Science in Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology and their Bachelor of Science in Biologie, général from Université de Bourgogne.
