Elaine Cheng

Elaine Cheng is an experienced professional in the food and beverage industry, currently serving as an Experiential Designer and Producer at TED Conferences, where responsibilities include crafting unique culinary experiences and managing stakeholders. Cheng's background includes roles as a Food Business Consultant, Founder & CEO of Food Connections Consulting Inc., and experience as a Program Manager at Oasis Cafe, promoting social enterprise. Additionally, Cheng co-founded Scrapless, a food waste redistribution app, and worked with Metro Vancouver on food waste initiatives. With a strong educational foundation that includes a Master's degree in Food Culture and Communications, a Culinary Arts Diploma, and a Bachelor's degree in Food Nutrition and Health, Cheng has a diverse skill set encompassing event planning, nutrition analysis, and educational outreach in various food-related capacities.
