Lawrence Jones

Lawrence Jones has extensive work experience in the field of creative directing, virtual production, and VFX supervision. Lawrence is currently working at Framestore as the Creative Director and Realtime VFX Supervisor. Prior to this, they held the position of Creative Director at TEDxCambridge and All of it Now. In addition, Lawrence has worked as a Virtual Production Supervisor at BUCK and as a Virtual Production + Realtime Supervisor at Psyop. Before entering the virtual production industry, Lawrence co-founded Sequin AR, where they served as the Executive Creative Director and Virtual Production / VFX Supervisor. Lawrence also held the positions of Managing Director and Creative Director at The Future Group AS. Lawrence gained earlier experience as a Creative Director / VFX Supervisor at ESPN and as a Lead 3D Compositor/Animator. Lawrence began their career as a Motion Graphics Designer/Animator at Tribune Broadcasting, WB Boston. Lawrence has also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at MassArt and Gibbs College, teaching animation and graphic design.

Lawrence Jones attended Nova Southeastern University from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Following this, in 1998, they attended Clark University and earned a Certificate in Computer Graphics. From 1999 to 2001, Lawrence attended the Rhode Island School of Design, focusing on Computer Design and Animation.
