Matthew Ord

Matthew Ord currently serves as Vice Chairman of Teesside Freeport and a Board Member at Tees Valley Combined Authority, focusing on inward investment, transport, and logistics. Since July 2017, Matthew has been the Company Ambassador for LV Logistics UK and, as of January 2024, holds the position of Chairman for the Tees & Hartlepool Port Users Association, advocating for the region's shipping industry. Previously, Matthew was Director of Business Development at KMS Partners, Senior Account Manager for International Trade at the North East England Chamber of Commerce, and MD/Business Development Executive at Trailer-Lift. Matthew's educational background includes GCSEs from Acklam Grange, completed from 1990 to 1995.
