Martina F. Ferracane

Martina F. Ferracane is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in digital education, international trade, and economic policy. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Teesside University and holding roles as an Assistant Professor and Academic Project Manager at the European University Institute, Martina has been instrumental in leading the Digital Trade Integration Project. As the founder and president of FabLab Western Sicily, a non-profit initiative promoting digital education, Martina aims to educate youth in digital fabrication technologies. Previous leadership includes serving as CEO and co-founder of Oral3D, which specializes in 3D printing solutions for dentists, and various research and consultancy positions with organizations such as the European Centre for International Political Economy, European Commission, and United Nations. Martina holds multiple advanced degrees, including a PhD in Law and Economics from the University of Hamburg, and has participated in prestigious fellowships across Europe and the United States.
