Michael Adewunmi

Michael Adewunmi is an experienced professional in human resources and administration, currently serving as a Human Resources Generalist at Teesside University since September 2024. Michael is responsible for developing initiatives in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) and enhancing employee engagement strategies. In addition to this role, Michael works as a Human Resources Specialist at Teesside University International Business School and has held the position of Administrative Manager at Family Word Centre since November 2014. Experience as an Executive Assistant at RegCharles Finance and Capital LTD. since April 2014 further complements Michael's extensive background. Notably, Michael served as President of the Teesside University Students' Union, where leadership efforts focused on advocating for student interests and promoting diversity and inclusion on campus. Michael holds an MA in Human Resource Management from Teesside University and has prior degrees in Sociology from the University of Lagos and Tia Solarin University of Education.
