Philip Beard serves as the Technical Director at TEG Ireland and the Head of EASA 21J.634 Design Organisation since June 2017, also holding the position of Technical Director at TEG (Technical Engineering Group) since June 2014. Beard has a strong background in aviation, developing business solutions for OEMs, lessors, airlines, and MROs, focusing on providing aircraft parts under stringent timelines and EASA compliance. As the Owner/Director of 21J Stress Solutions Ltd, Beard supports TEG in aviation consulting, particularly in delivering AOG parts efficiently. Prior to joining TEG, Beard spent over three decades at BAE Systems, progressing through various roles from Stress Engineer to Structures Support Manager, overseeing teams and managing extensive repair projects for in-service aircraft. Beard holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Hatfield Polytechnic.
