Kristina Barwick

Kristina Barwick is an experienced broadcast professional with a diverse background in newscasting and technical operations. Currently serving as a Broadcast Director at TEGNA since May 2022, Kristina codes and directs daily newscasts while troubleshooting on-air issues. Prior experience includes positions as a Newscast Director at Sinclair Broadcast Group and as a Technical Director at KRGV-TV, where responsibilities included training staff and developing operational procedures. Additional roles encompass network operations at Skyway Studios and NorthStar Studios, along with early experience as a Camera Operator and Associate Photographer. Kristina holds a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Middle Tennessee State University and a certification in TV and Radio Broadcasting from the CSB School of Broadcasting.
