Sean Hamilton is an experienced sports media professional currently serving as the Director of Sports Projects at TEGNA since January 2022, where oversight of content strategy and execution for sports rights partnerships is a key focus. With a long tenure at WFAA since November 1999, Sean holds the position of Director, Sports and Special Projects, leading TEGNA Sports initiatives and overseeing programming for KFAA, the home of the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Wings. Previous roles include Executive Producer for one of the largest local sports departments and at NBC 5 Dallas Fort Worth as Executive Producer for all sports programming. Sean started in sports production at WFAA-TV in 1994 and holds a Master of Arts in Radio, TV, Film from the University of North Texas, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from The University of Texas at Arlington.
