James Richard is an experienced technician and machinist with a diverse background in the engineering and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as an EDM Tech at Electric Boat QP since March 2017, James has also held the position of Outside Machinist at Electric Boat since July 2014, contributing to the construction of Virginia Class Submarines. Previously, at Tegra Medical, James worked as Lead EDM Second Shift, where responsibilities included assisting production setups, troubleshooting machinery, and maintaining quality control records. James's earlier experience includes a role as Wire EDM Machinist at Gillette-WSHQ, where machining processes for prototypes were developed, and a 23-year tenure as Owner of Micro Tech Tool INC, managing various client relationships and overseeing workflows in multiple industries. James Richard holds an Associate's degree in Electricity from NH Voc Tech.
