Sara Smith

Sara Smith is the current Assistant Superintendent at Tehama County Department of Education. Sara has held various positions in the field of recruitment and talent acquisition over the years. Her previous companies include Staples, Midas Selection, Heat in a Click, and Next Move IT.

Sara began their career in recruitment as a Recruitment Consultant - IT Specialist with Next Move IT in October 2006. Sara then took on the role of Business Development Manager with Heat in a Click from January 2007 to December 2010. In May 2010, they started working with Midas Selection as a Sales & Service Recruiter and was promoted to Recruitment Manager in November 2013. Sara left Midas Selection in August 2020 to join Tehama County Department of Education as Assistant Superintendent.

Sara has extensive experience in recruitment strategy, talent pipelines, writing and implementing inductions, conducting and supporting interviews, and more. Sara is passionate about finding and developing talent and providing a consistent service across their team.
