Alison North

Alison North is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in organizational management and human resources. Currently serving as the Director of People and Technology at Teign Housing since April 2024, Alison previously held the position of Director of Internal Operations and Deputy Chief Executive at Somerset West and Taunton from September 2018 to August 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing a workforce of 288 staff and managing a multimillion-pound budget. Alison's earlier roles include Senior Transformation Lead - People & Change at Taunton Deane Borough Council and West Somerset Council, and various management positions at CNA Maritime and Generali, demonstrating a strong background in change management, corporate governance, and employee engagement. Alison holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences from The Open University.
