Smitha Sundaram

Smitha Sundaram, Ph.D., serves as the Corporate Sustainability Manager at Teijin Limited since September 2018, after holding the position of Sustainability Analyst in Eco-Economics. Prior experience includes roles as a Doctoral Candidate at the Eindhoven University of Technology, where research focused on system integration, cost analysis, and life-cycle analysis of biomass-based processes as part of the EU-funded BIOGO project. Earlier, Smitha contributed as a Graduate Intern at Stichting KIEN, designing a net-zero energy community in Waalwijk, and worked as a Project Engineer at Aker Solutions, managing engineering teams on complex refinery projects. Smitha holds a Ph.D. and multiple degrees in Sustainable Energy Technology and Chemical Engineering from prestigious institutions, including the Royal Institute of Technology, Eindhoven University of Technology, and the University of Mumbai.
