Christopher S. Glenn

Christopher Glenn established TEK1st, LLC in January 2005 with the the vision and belief that business should be simple, efficient, honest, and personal. Since then TEK 1st has grown into one of the most respected Information Technology (IT) Outsourcing and Consulting firms for small to medium-sized businesses in North East Texas.

Chris began his 23 year long career in Computer Sciences at the Bryant Area Vocational Center in Irvington, AL in 1988 while studding Electronics. He continued to pursue his education in engineering and computers and in his own words "New technologies are emerging at such a rapid pace, that continual education needs to be redefined."

From there he went on to work primarily in Naval Architecture, Mechanical & Structural Engineering with secondary duties in Network Administration. Ultimately, he found that his true calling in life was Network Engineering.

He came to Fort Worth, TX in 1997, although he may not be a native of Texas, he is a Texan at heart. During this first trip he worked by day as a network engineer for a local outsourcing company, however, his real passion at the time and nearly a ten year hobby was Bull Riding. He participated in the local rodeo circuit and was even invited to ride in the "Celebrity Rodeo" at the Cowtown Coliseum in the Fort Worth Stockyards. As there were no Celebrity Bull Riders and everyone knows, you can't have a rodeo without bull riding.

He continued to work for many IT outsourcing and IT consulting companies because he enjoyed working with multiple clients and building lasting relationship with them. It has always been of utmost importance for him to provide service and support with one-on-one personal interaction. After spending ten years in the IT consulting industry and learning as much as possible about it, he then decided to follow his heart and entrepreneurial spirit, TEK1st was born.
