Leonardo Soto

Leonardo Soto is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and development, having served as the R&D Interim Director and Category Manager at TekniPlex since August 2022. In this role, Leonardo oversees team integration and mentorship while focusing on hiring and training initiatives. Previously, as the R&D Category Manager, Leonardo successfully managed the Shelf Stable Category, leading to the launch of a key product that generated over $180 million in sales. With a robust career at Grupo Phoenix, now TekniPlex, spanning from January 2002 to August 2022, Leonardo held various roles including R&D Manager for USA and Canada, Lean Manager, and Quality Manager, where significant contributions were made in product development, process improvement, and team leadership. Leonardo's educational background includes a Master's degree in Marketing from Universidad de Los Andes and an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
