Lars Dalgaard

Lars Dalgaard currently serves as the Head of Service Robotics at the Danish Technological Institute, leading efforts to expand research, development, and commercial activities in service robotics across various platforms including ground, aerial, and underwater systems. Previously, Lars held multiple roles within the institution, such as Head of Computer Vision & Service Robotics and Robotic Systems Designer, fostering advancements in robot technology and project management. Lars's academic background includes an Industrial PhD in Robotics Design and an MSc in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Southern Denmark. Prior experience also includes positions as an Amanuensis, Research Assistant, and Robot Systems Developer, contributing to various projects in automation and control theory, analog and digital hardware design, and mobile robotic systems.
