Teknologisk Institut
Thomas Nørregaard Jensen has extensive experience in the fields of business management and experimental physics. Since May 2015, Thomas has held multiple roles, including Business Manager, Senior Consultant, Specialist, and Consultant at the Danish Technological Institute. Prior to this, from September 2010 to February 2015, Thomas pursued a PhD in Nanotechnology at Aarhus University, focusing on the catalytic properties of metal oxide-supported nanoparticles, and served as a PhD Teaching Assistant. Thomas also gained research experience as a Visiting Researcher at Yale University in 2012, specializing in atomic-scale characterization of metal oxide surfaces. Earlier career experience includes managerial and crew roles at Burger King from August 2005 to May 2010. Educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy from Aarhus University, a visiting researcher experience at Yale University, a baccalaureate in Physical Sciences from Faaborg Gymnasium, and early education at Colbert High School in the USA.

Teknologisk Institut udvikler, anvender og formidler forsknings- og teknologibaseret viden til dansk erhvervsliv. Instituttet deltager i samfundsnyttige udviklingsprojekter i tæt samarbejde med førende forsknings- og uddannelsesinstitutioner i både Danmark og udlandet. Teknologisk Institut gennemfører rådgivnings- og standardiseringsaktiviteter, som bidrager til en dynamisk og harmonisk samfundsudvikling. Instituttet medvirker til at styrke den danske arbejdsstyrkes kompetencer via uddannelse.
