Suresh Swaminathan

Suresh Swaminathan serves as a member of the Board of Directors for United Way of Rhode Island since November 2021. Suresh has a long-standing career at Teknor Apex Company, starting in October 1987, where roles progressed from Business Development Manager to Chief Operating Officer. Responsibilities have included overseeing the Asia Pacific region, managing a multi-million dollar global Thermoplastic Elastomer Business Unit, integrating strategic acquisitions, and enhancing market presence across various sectors, including Automotive, Consumer, Medical, Packaging, and Industrial. Suresh holds a Master of Science in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from The University of Akron and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Anna University Chennai, along with a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Marketing from Bryant University.
