Hagit Padova has a diverse work experience in various healthcare and military roles. Hagit started their career in 2008 as the Head of the Aeromedical Unit and Clinic in the Israeli Air Force. In 2010, they became an Internal Medicine Specialist and Senior Physician at the Tel Aviv Medical Center. Hagit then served as the Head of the Medical Branch at the Israeli Medical Corps Headquarters from 2014 to 2017. In 2019, they took on the role of Deputy Director General for Quality and Patient Safety at the Tel Aviv Medical Center while also serving as a Rheumatology Consultant to the IDF Medical Corps. Currently, they are the Managing Director of the Nissim Douek Medical Technology & Simulation Center at the Tel Aviv Medical Center.
Hagit Padova holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Tel Aviv University and a Master's Degree in Health Systems Management (MHA) with honors from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Hagit is currently enrolled in the Wexner Senior Leadership Program at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government. Hagit has also completed the AFEK Course at the IDF Command and Staff College and the Aviation Medicine Course, earning the degree of Flight Surgeon, from the ISRAEL AIR FORCE.

Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov) is the second largest and one of the most progressive full-service healthcare treatment and research institutions in Israel. Medical Center physicians integrate their clinical care with research on a daily basis. Each year, hundreds of research studies, both basic science and clinical, are conducted within the Medical Center’s walls, in search of new medical understanding and to develop new diagnostic and treatment modalities. The Medical Center leads the country in the number of research projects conducted. In 2010, the Medical Center was the top facility in research funding.
