Eran Socher

Eran Socher is a distinguished academic in the field of Electrical Engineering, currently serving as the Head of the School of Electrical Engineering and Full Professor at Tel Aviv University since October 2008. Previous roles at Tel Aviv University include Department Chair of Physical Electronics, Associate Professor, and Senior Lecturer. Between July 2015 and July 2017, Eran Socher held a Visiting Professor position at the University of Toronto, and served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at UCLA from October 2006 to September 2008. Earlier research experience includes a role as a researcher at IAF from 2003 to 2006. Eran Socher earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 1993 and 2005.
