John Urtz

John Urtz has over a decade of experience in regulatory affairs and quality management within the medical device and healthcare industries. Currently employed as Senior Manager of Regulatory and Quality at TELA Bio since October 2016, John has previously held roles including Regulatory Affairs Manager and Senior RA/QA Specialist at the same company. Prior to TELA Bio, John worked at Siemens Healthcare as a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist and at Stryker Orthobiologics as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist and Quality Engineer. John began a career at Orthovita as an Associate Microbiologist. John holds a Master of Science in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs from Temple University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Penn State University.
