Melanie Bonds is a seasoned clinical project manager with extensive experience in the healthcare and medical device sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Clinical Project Manager at TELA Bio since December 2023, Melanie has previously held roles such as Clinical Operations Study Manager at Kelly Science for Johnson & Johnson Surgical Vision and Manager of Clinical Affairs at Stryker. Melanie's career began at CHARLES RETINA INSTITUTE PC, where multiple positions, including Director of Clinical Research and Development, were held over a decade. Additionally, significant experience includes a brief role as a Clinical Research Associate at IQVIA. Melanie obtained a Master of Business Administration from The George Washington University and a Master of Science in Biology Medical Sciences from Mississippi College, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rhodes College.
