Samaiya Mushtaq

Samaiya Mushtaq, MD, currently serves as the Clinical Operations Medical Director for Mental Health at Teladoc Health, overseeing psychiatric services and leading provider engagement initiatives. Previously, Samaiya was the Founder and Consultant at The Psych Consult, PLLC, offering mental health and wellbeing consulting services and coaching within various organizations. Experience at UT Southwestern Medical Center included roles as Assistant Professor and Clinical Instructor in Psychiatry, focusing on psychiatric emergency services and clinical operations. Additionally, Samaiya held positions as Learning & Development Manager at Boston Consulting Group and as a resident physician with a strong emphasis on clinician-educator training. Samaiya completed an M.D. at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and holds a B.A. from Southern Methodist University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
