Fernando Somaeb

Fernando Somaeb is the current Director at Telecom Namibia Limited. Fernando has worked in various management positions in the past, overseeing capital, risk, and assurance for Rio Tinto, as well as managing retirement funds for Old Mutual Life Assurance Company Namibia Limited. Fernando began their career as a trainee accountant at Deloitte.

Fernando Somaeb has a certificate in FinTech from GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science), a certificate in management from Stellenbosch University, and a B.Comm (Hons) - CTA in accounting from the University of South Africa. Fernando also has a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) Accounting in accounting from Rhodes University and is certified by the Institute of Chartered Accountants Namibia as a Chartered Accountant (Namibia).
