Stanley Shanapinda

CEO at Telecom Namibia Limited

Stanley Shanapinda is the CEO at Telecom Namibia Limited. Prior to this, they were a research fellow at La Trobe University, the University of the Witwatersrand, and FGV Brazil.

Shanapinda's research focuses on cyber risk management and compliance, cybersecurity governance, and data and development. Stanley has also worked on developing a policy and legal framework that incentivises the sharing of telecommunications metadata by private companies for public good.

Stanley Shanapinda has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UNSW Australia, a Masters of Management in ICT Policy and Regulation from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a B.Juris; LL.B from the University of Namibia. Their field of expertise is Cyber Security and Telecommunications: Policy, Law and Regulation.
