Amit Sharma is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in telecommunications and finance. Currently serving as an Advisor at the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) since October 2018, Amit has held various significant roles including Controller at the Department of Telecommunications (DOT) for a brief period in 2018 and Financial Advisor at the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) from 2013 to 2018. From 2010 to 2013, Amit functioned as Director of Finance and Administration at India Post and has held several finance-focused positions within the Department of Telecommunications, including Joint Controller and Director (Wireless Finance). Amit's career began at BSNL as Deputy General Manager Finance from 1999 to 2003.
