Sean Moir has over 27 years of experience in the software development industry. Sean began their career in 1993 as a Senior Programmer Analyst at Vastera, where they were one of the founding developers of a publicly traded software company. Sean was responsible for developing Global Trade Management application solutions for multinational companies. Later versions of this application were written using Java.
In 2007, Sean Moir began working at the County of Chester as a GIS Analyst and Project Manager. Sean managed a Revolutionary War GIS mapping project funded by the National Park Service and developed animated maps for the Battle of Brandywine, Paoli Massacre, and the Battle of the Clouds.
In 2010, Sean Moir became the President of Western Heritage Mapping. As President and Director of Product Development, they developed animated maps, historic battlefield maps, and interpretive heritage maps. Sean also developed animated maps for the Battle of Brandywine and the Paoli Massacre in conjunction with the County of Chester and the National Park Service.
In 2018, Sean Moir started working at the County of Montgomery Board of Assessment as a GIS Supervisor.
Most recently, in 2020, Sean Moir began working at Telecommunications Development Corp as a Project Manager, Data Analyst, and Java Developer.
Sean Moir attended Penn State University from 1982 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
