Edgar Salvador has an extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Edgar started their career at Teledyne Controls in 2008 as a Customer Support Engineer, where they developed and tested avionic applications and provided constant support and training to airlines using Teledyne's software products. Edgar then worked as a Lead Customer Support Engineer, providing global airlines with training and conducting market analyses for the design of new products. Edgar later became the Customer Service Manager for Latin America and the Mediterranean, ensuring routine support activities were performed and identifying new business opportunities. Edgar then transitioned to the role of Customer Support Manager for North and Latin America, where they supported all customers in the region and contributed to the development of market strategies. In 2018, Edgar was promoted to Director Aircraft Data Services, responsible for directing corporate service procedures and identifying new service opportunities. Edgar is currently serving as the Director of Technical Sales and Business Development for Aircraft Data Services, where they manage technical sales activities and builds strategic customer relationships. Prior to their tenure at Teledyne Controls, Edgar worked as an Applications Engineer at Teledyne Controls and completed an internship at NASA/CALPOLY as a Task Leader Engineer in High Lift Systems and Aerodynamics.

Edgar Salvador's education history begins with a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, which they earned from 2000 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Master Aeronautical Science degree in Aeronautical Operations at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University between 2009 and 2013. Edgar then obtained an MBA degree in Management and Finance from Loyola Marymount University, College of Business Administration, attending from 2005 to 2007. Edgar'seducation journey continued in 2020 when they enrolled at UCLA and is expected to graduate in 2022 with a Master's degree in Data Science Engineering.
