Callum Butler has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Callum is currently the Head of Cyber Security Support Services at Telefónica Tech, where they lead a team of offensive and defensive security professionals in delivering support services to high-profile customers in the UK. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Security Consultant at Telefónica Tech, where they focused on building robust offensive cyber security capabilities and leading a high-performing team. Callum also held the position of Head of Security Operations Centre at CANCOM, where they led the SOC team in delivering security managed services. Before joining CANCOM, they worked as a Security Architect and Cyber Security Consultant, specializing in developing and implementing solutions for cyber security services. Callum started their career as a Cyber Security Analyst at OCSL, where they worked on red and blue team projects. Additionally, they have experience working as a Managed Services Operator at OCSL Managed Services and as an IT Administrator at Askham Village Community / Stone Cut Software. Callum began their career as an Assembler and Tester at Adder Technology. Throughout their career, Callum has demonstrated a passion for innovation and pushing the boundaries of industry standards in the cybersecurity field.
Callum Butler's education history includes obtaining an A Level in Information Technology from Cromwell Community College in 2014. Prior to that, they completed their GCSE from the same school, specializing in Information Technology, Product Design, English, and Maths between 2007 and 2012. Callum also holds several additional certifications, including the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Certified Network Defender (CND) from EC-Council in 2017.
