David Nieto Herrera

David Nieto Herrera is currently the Country Manager for Telefónica Tech in Chile, a position held since June 2023. Previously, David served as Regional Manager at Cisco, overseeing the service providers market across multiple countries in South America from October 2019 to June 2023. David has also contributed as an Associate Professor at Centro de Transformación Digital UDD and as a board member at PAIS DIGITAL. In earlier roles, David managed operations for Fortinet in Chile, directed IT systems for Scotiabank across Latin America, and led IT managed services at Claro Chile S.A. and Telmex Colombia SA. With a background in engineering and project management, David holds a degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad EAN and a specialization in Systems Project Management from Universidad del Rosario. Additionally, David is an ITIL certified expert.
