Hugo de Los Santos

Hugo de los Santos has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Hugo has held various leadership roles at Telefónica Tech, including Chief New Growth Markets Officer Cybersecurity & Cloud Tech and Chief Cyber & Cloud Product, Technology & Innovation Officer Global B2B. In these roles, they were responsible for driving growth and innovation in cybersecurity and cloud products for the B2B segment worldwide. Hugo was also a board member of the B2B Executive Committee. Prior to their time at Telefónica Tech, they worked at Telefonica Business Solutions, where they served as Chief Product & Marketing Officer Global B2B and Director Global B2B Communication Services, among other positions. Hugo was responsible for developing and implementing integrated communication solutions for the B2B market and managing global business units within the Telefonica Group. Before joining Telefonica, Hugo de los Santos worked at Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo as an Associate Professor and at the University of La Salle Ramon Llul as an Associate Professor, both in the Telecom MBA program. Hugo also has experience working at Wayra, the business accelerator of Telefónica Group, and Telindus, where they held various management roles. Hugo de los Santos has a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication from the University of Alcalá de Henares, specializing in Electronic Systems. Hugo also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication from the University of Málaga, specialized in Communications & Electronic Systems. In addition, they have completed various executive development programs, including the Program for Executive Directors at IESE Business School, focusing on Leadership & Coaching, and the Program for Executive Directors at Esade, focusing on Marketing & Sales. Hugo also completed the Entrepreneurship Network Program at Stanford University.
