Chantal Bertrand

Chantal Bertrand has a varied work experience. From 2022 to present, they have been working as the Chef de projet Customer Care at Telegrafik, a platform of connected solutions for healthy aging, serving professionals. Her role includes advising healthcare professionals on the most appropriate solutions to secure seniors in EHPADs and at home. From 2015 to present, they have been the Gérante SARL at LudiSciences, an organization that offers workshops to rediscover scientific subjects for people aged 5 to 99. This project received support from the CEEI Théogone de Ramonville Saint-Agne, a European center for businesses and innovation. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as a PhD Student in Pathophysiology and Metabolic Diseases at INSERM U1048. Her research included determining the effect of a chronic Apelin treatment on the hepatic metabolism of obese and insulin resistant mice, as well as the modulation of murine muscle Apelin by the supplementation of a high-fat diet with EPA.

Chantal Bertrand obtained their DEUG from Aix-Marseille University in 2005-2007, followed by a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology - Biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Birmingham in 2007-2008. Chantal then earned a Master 1 in Nutrition - Food safety from Aix-Marseille University in 2008-2009 and a Master's degree in Human pathologies from Aix-Marseille University in 2009-2010. Finally, they completed their Research Doctorate in Physiopathologie métabolisme obésité from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III in 2010-2013.
