Alur Venkatesh has a strong work experience in the telecommunications industry. Alur started their career in 1991 as an Engineer R&D at R Communications Pvt Ltd and then moved to Vintek RF Products Pvt Ltd in 1992. Alur worked as an Engineer R&D at Vintek for a year before joining United Telecoms Limited as a Sr Engineer- R&D in 1993. At United Telecoms, they were involved in the development, installation, and approval of various radio relay systems.

In 1996, Alur Venkatesh joined Arya Communications and Electronics Services Pvt Ltd (Motorola JV) as a Manager-Technical. Alur held this position until 2000 and was responsible for various technical activities. After that, they worked as a Manager-RF Planning at Motorola JV from 2000 to 2001.

In 2001, they joined Tenet Technologies Pvt Ltd (Tekelec India Company) as a Manager-Technical. During their time at Tenet Technologies, they were involved in the planning and implementation of Tekelec STP and softswitch systems for Indian customers.

In 2004, Alur Venkatesh joined TATA TELESERVICES LTD. as a Dy General Manager-Planning and Implementation. Alur worked at TATA TELESERVICES for 14 years and was responsible for managing a team and handling various planning and implementation activities related to STP, DSR, HLR, HSS, IMS, and other network elements.

In 2019, they joined Teleindia Networks Pvt Ltd and has held the positions of General Manager- Managed Services, Vice President- Managed Services, and currently Vice President - Managed Services and HR.

Alur Venkatesh completed a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications from SJCE Mysore. Additionally, they pursued a PGDBA program at SYMBIOSIS Pune.
