Janet Bolivar

Janet Bolivar is an experienced weather anchor and multimedia journalist currently working at Telemundo Houston since January 2019 and at NBC Telemundo since January 2016. Janet has a strong background in reporting, having held various roles such as weather and traffic reporter and On-Air Promotions Coordinator, where responsibilities included coordinating on-air promotions and daily operations of the Creative Services Department. Janet's earlier experience includes journalism at Primera Hora, where responsibilities encompassed reporting on diverse subjects, monitoring social media for story ideas, and producing a successful video blog. Janet's career began as a student journalist at Diálogo Newspaper and has included roles as a web journalist and research assistant at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Educational credentials include a Master's in International Communication from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Bachelor's in Journalism and Mass Communication from Universidad de Puerto Rico.
