Gregory Aist has a diverse work experience, starting as a Graduate Student at Carnegie Mellon University in 1995. Gregory then worked as a Visiting Scientist at MIT Media Lab and as a Scientist at USRA. Gregory later joined the University of Rochester as a Research Associate and Arizona State University as an Assistant Research Professor. From 2008 to 2011, Gregory served as a Visiting Research Faculty at Carnegie Mellon University. Gregory then worked as an Assistant Professor at Iowa State University before transitioning into the industry. Gregory joined Telenav in 2011 and held various roles, including Staff Software Engineer, Senior Staff Software Engineer, Acting Product Manager, and Principal Speech Engineer / Technical Product Owner. Gregory is currently the Head of Global Speech Technology at Telenav.

Gregory Aist pursued higher education starting in 1995 at Carnegie Mellon University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Computational Linguistics in 1997. Gregory continued their academic journey at the same university and completed a Ph.D. in Language and Information Technologies in the year 2000.
