Koenraad de Gersem

Koenraad De Gersem has over 30 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Koenraad began their career at Proximus in 1991 as a Radio Engineer and later took on the role of GSM Radio Engineer. In 2000, they joined Orange as a Telecom Engineer, where they provided on-site technical support and expertise for the deployment of Orange as a third mobile operator in Belgium. Koenraad then delivered operational services for the company. In 2005, Koenraad joined BASE as the TX - RAN Team Leader, responsible for leading the ALU team. Koenraad moved to Alcatel-Lucent in 2009, becoming the EMEA Managed Hosted Service Leader until 2011. From 2012 to 2014, they served as the Customer Assurance Lead for the KPNGB project at Alcatel-Lucent. In 2014, Koenraad worked as the OPS Head at BASE and also held the position of Managed Service Director at Tech Mahindra for BASE Belgium. Most recently, they have been working at Telenet and Telenet Group, starting in 2019 as the Director of Network Operations and 1st Line Service Assurance. Throughout their career, Koenraad has gained extensive experience in project management, service delivery, and network operations.

Koenraad De Gersem attended VTI Oostende until 1991, where they studied Electronics.
