Wim Vanderperren

Wim Vanderperren has extensive work experience in both the telecommunications industry and academia. Wim began their career at Telenet in 2007 as an Architect and progressed to various managerial roles, including Manager Application & Information Architecture, Manager Transformation Architecture, and Director Architecture - CoE Lead. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President Software & Architecture. Wim also has a strong academic background, having worked as a Phd researcher FWO, Postdoctoral Fellow FWO, and later as a Docent and Professor at Vrije Universiteit Brussel.

Wim Vanderperren earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 1999. Later, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from the same university in 2003.
