Barney Jacobs

Barney Jacobs has a diverse work experience in the legal and compliance field. Barney started their career at Ridge and Partners LLP as a Consultant from January 2008 to February 2009. Barney then joined Telenor as a Legal Counsel in April 2009 and worked there until December 2015.

In 2015, Barney became a Board Member at Telenor Global Services AS, a position they held until May 2017. Barney then returned to Telenor and served as the Head of Legal & Compliance from January 2016 to October 2022. During this time, they also took on the role of Acting CFO from January 2022 to August 2022.

Barney's most recent role is as the Vice President of Legal & Compliance at Telenor Linx, starting in October 2022.

Barney Jacobs holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law from Oxford Brookes University. Their education also includes a Master of Laws degree in International Commercial Law from The University of Salford.
