Henning Thronsen

Henning Thronsen is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance and management. Currently serving as a Board Member at Telenor Microfinance Bank Limited since 2015, Thronsen is also the Head of Project & Corporate Finance at Telenor ASA since 2006, where responsibilities include capital structure, corporate restructuring, risk management, and governance. Prior roles include CFO at Midelfart Holding AS (2001-2006) overseeing corporate finance and asset management, Head of Treasury at Western Bulk Shipping ASA (1997-2001), Head of Cash Management at Kvaerner ASA (1995-1997), Assistant Treasurer at Kraft Freia Marabou Nordic (1993-1995), and Treasury Manager at Total (1992-1993). Thronsen holds an Authorized Financial Analyst degree from The Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration and additional educational credentials from BI Norwegian Business School and The Norwegian Army Officer School.
