Paolo Rosso

Paolo Rosso has extensive work experience in the field of natural language processing and research. Paolo is currently serving as the Head of Natural Language Processing at Telepathy Labs since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Researcher at Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg from October 2016 to March 2021. During their tenure at Université de Fribourg, Paolo was involved in designing, implementing, deploying, and evaluating neural networks for tasks related to Knowledge Graphs and text. Paolo also taught various Bachelor/Master courses and managed the clusters and servers of the University. Before joining Université de Fribourg, Paolo worked as a Researcher at HLRS - High Performance Computing Center Stuttgart from February 2015 to August 2016.

Paolo Rosso's education history begins with completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at the Università degli Studi di Torino from 2009 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at Lodz University of Technology, which they completed in 2012. Then, from 2013 to 2016, they attended Università di Pavia, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering. Additionally, from 2014 to 2015, they studied at Tongji University and earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering. Paolo's education journey culminated in their pursuit of a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Machine Learning and Semantic Web at Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg from 2016 to 2021.
